Is It Possible To Get Non-imm "b" Visa?if I Work For A Company In Us.

Featured Replies

Im in Thailand with the 30 days visa thing.

I've been here for like almost 90 days and I cant do the visa run anymore

but I want to stay here til April and then go back home.

I'm gonna fly to Singapore or Laos to apply for a visa.

I work here but for the company in USA.

Is it possible to get non-imm B If I dont work with Thai company?

Or can i apply for the other kind of visa?

Thank you.

Highly doubtful that you will get a non-immigrant 'B' issued anywhere in the region without an accompanying stack of paperwork that it sounds like you would not have (documents related to the Thai company you are visiting/doing business with). In your situation, it sounds like a simple tourist visa would be just fine. The "number of days" problem only pertains to entries made into Thailand without a visa.

Forget Laos. To cover you until April, go to Singapore and get a double-entry tourist visa.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Just some advice, You would be much better off if you dont say to any Embassy /Consulate that you are working in thailand, just apply for a tourist visa unless the company has a registerd thai office in thailand.

Friday I was at a legal hearing regarding some company biz and the guys before us were explaing to the judge/advocate about a small car accident and after it was over they had to pay 250.00 baht.No problem RiGHT? after they walked out with the lawyer and paid the fine, They were arrested for working in thailand without a work permit and taking away :o Sometime during the hearing they were asked 'What do you do in thailand" . So be carefull
