Md. Prawet has proposed a new strategy to reinforce national health

A senior citizen, Md. Prawet Wasee (ประเวศ วะสี), is preparing a new strategic policy to reinforce national health by putting an emphasis on the development of good morality and ethics in accordance with the policy of Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont.

Md. Prawet revealed that the government of Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont currently has been arranging the new strategic policy to reconcile every side of the society. Dr. Prawet has proposed an important strategy for the Thai society to unite together, and the government has to declare it as a social policy. According to this strategy, each student and state official will spend two weeks in one year’s time, excluding any holiday, and they would become a volunteer to take care of the disabled people.

The activities are intended to reinforce the local communities and the society as a whole, and they can be done in an integrated manner throughout the provinces.

Furthermore, this strategy will lead to a moral and ethical society.

Md. Prawet said everyone in the Thai society has to cooperate in this issue, and ideas will be gathered from academics, media members, and people of various professions at Santi Maitree Building in the Government House on November 17th.

Taoism: shit happens

Buddhism: if shit happens, it isn't really shit

Islam: if shit happens, it is the will of Allah

Catholicism: if shit happens, you deserve it

Judaism: why does this shit always happen to us?

Atheism: I don't believe this shit

Reading that, I suddenly remenber Jean Jaures (famous Atheist).

Md. Prawet said everyone in the Thai society has to cooperate in this issue,...

Doesn't "volunteer" and "has to cooperate" sound like a contradiction?
