Good spot for a begginer near Trang

Featured Replies

Hi there.

I'm going to Thailand in december and I'd like to do some diving while I'm there.

I'm a certificated PADI diver, but have little experience and wouldn't line to go under 18m, so I'm excluding a few places I've read about, which go 30+ down... Also, because I have limited time, I won't be able to go to Similan Islands, which would be my first choice (actually, I'm probably not even going to Phuket). So, I'm looking for something near Trang... Maybe around Koh Lang?

Anyway, any suggestions are appreciated.

Update:

I'm nearly decided to dive in Koh Haa and Bida Nok... Maybe Hein Daeng?

Any thoughts?

Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are not suitable for beginners due to depth and currents. Koh Haa and Bida Nok would be much better choices.
