Fire at recycled rubber tyre factory in Ban Bung

CHONBURI: -- A huge fire broke out late last night at a recycled rubber tyre factory, Jientai Rubber Industry (Thailand) in Ban Bung district of Chonburi.

A huge stock of recycled tyres was burnt down in the fire which raged for several hours before it could be kept under control before dawn.

Nobody was injured in the fire.

A dozen of fire trucks arrived after being alerted of the fire at this factory.

During the fire, workers have to drive a backhoe tractor to demolish the concrete wall of the two-storey factory building in bud to put out fire inside where a huge stock of recycled tyres were kept.

Forensic police inspected the fire scene this morning to find the cause of the fire.
