Hollande pays tribute to police couple murdered in terror attack



A memorial ceremony has been held in Versailles for the French police couple murdered last Monday at their home in Magnanville, west of Paris.

Several hundred officers were present – some in an extremely distressed state – to remember Jessica Schneider and Jean-Baptiste Salvaing, who were stabbed to death by an man who pledged allegiance to the self-styled Islamic State group.

Their three-year old son was taken hostage and found shocked but unharmed after police stormed the house and killed the attacker.

President Hollande paid tribute to the murdered couple.

“Two everyday heroes, a man and a woman who shared the same life, who made a home, and who lovingly brought up their young son Matthieu, three years old. For us it is unbearable to think that their very promising existence was brutally wiped out, victims of a terrorist consumed by hate,” Hollande said during his address.

French police have had to deal with a state of emergency in place since last November’s Paris attacks, a high security alert for Euro 2016 and a series of strikes and protests.

One officer poignantly refused to shake the hands of the president and Prime Minister Manuel Valls in an apparent protest at a lack of resources.

It's hard to see where you can get the resources from when about 8% of your population could be part of a giant terrorist sleeper cell spread throughout over 750 no go zones throughout the Country. It doesn't help when the EU open borders serve to pour petrol on the flames of an already calamitous situation.

It seems like most of the attacks involve second generation men from immigrant families. What does not seem to register with liberals and Obama as he pushes to reach the million muslim immigrants to be admitted during his presidency is that, as can be seen so plainly in Europe, the immigrants will settle in their own clusters in poorer neighborhoods because there will be no good jobs. With the current unemployment rate here in the USA the way it is, who is going to hire them. They will be on welfare and other government support. The kids will grow up disenfranchised and from this lot will come those individuals who will become the homegrown terrorists. Sure this is a generalization but look at who has committed the terrorist acts here in the USA. It is indeed unfortunate that most immigrants want nothing more than a better life, but most find it is not better as they try to compete at the low end in the market place. It just becomes a breeding ground for discontent and radical ideas. What is going on in Europe and what is coming to the USA is nothing but future problems. If you got a good thing try to maintain it. If you want to be generous then help the poor refugees where they are until the situation gets better. The bleed hearts in the West have pretty well screwed up a good thing and thank God I won't be around to see it all disintegrate. I have traveled to many of the nations in the Gulf region and I'm not anti-Muslim but I see little tolerance in the Muslim world for other religious or ethical views so I see no reason to welcome those who are not open to the western thought process for religion, ethics, and our more prevalent live and let live way of life.

Thank God you will not be around to see it all disintegrate? You must be very very old already then, because the disintegration is in full force already.

I have said this before, and say it again, this whole situation is nothing more than a provocation by those who have f****d it all up big time. I'm sure you understand I have our multi millionaire billionaire politicians in mind here.

The only thing they want to create is a massive world war, which will be fought out by the peasants us, while they are tucked away in safe places.

When the mess is cleaned up they will show up again to rule what is left.

Just a few days ago I read a post on FB, with which I agreed completely, because it shows what is going on today. The post went as followed.

When Muslims ask for a Islamic school and swimming pools where Muslims are separated from the population of the country in which they immigrated , then that is allowed.................but when I ask for a school without Muslims and a swimming pool where Muslims aren't welcome then I'm a racist.
