PM's Office Minister urges military officers adhere to HM the King's teachings

Itiporn Lakarnchua

BANGKOK, 17 June 2016 (NNT) – The Prime Minister’s Office Minister has bid the Royal Thai Army Chief Joint of Staff forge righteousness and morality in keeping with His Majesty the King’s teaching to ensure happiness and peace in Thai society.

Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office ML Panadda Diskul recently chaired a talk under the title “In His Majesty’s Footsteps” held for the 57th class of Army Chief Joint of Staff students.

In an address to the students, ML Panadda urged them to utilize the teachings of His Majesty the King in their daily lives and to foster loyalty in the nation, its monarch and its religion. He also asked them to live by the sufficiency economy philosophy of His Majesty as to protect them from vice. In his conclusion, he noted the 12 core values set by the government, pointing out as military officers they should seek to embody the values at all times.

Sounds like someone is concerned about a coup. This from a Junta who bared it's naked rear end at everything it is now trying to preach.

Not only the military offices, if the whole of the Thai people would have followed HM advice

and teachings, the whole country would have been much better off, Thais loves and adore

their king very much, but fail badly when it comes to listen and implement this man words

of wisdom......

Strange speech. When the priest preaches to the choir, that is usually because the choir is drinking too much wine or doing things behind the priests' back. w00t.gif Scary. coffee1.gif

Sounds like someone is getting nervous.

Can't help but notice the PM and a certain DPM seems to be at cross purposes a lot these days.

Is it just because both are not particularly bright or is there something more sinister going on ?

A coup within a coup, just what the country needs !

Do as I say, not as I do (and hope that the numbers don't lie).

One thing the PM can never be faulted on is his love and dedication to His Majesty.

The majority can all benefit by striving for peace in society despite any violent minorities dedication in trying to deviate from it. Lets hope ALL citizens of the country follow His Majesties wise teachings.

Long live the king.

It might be better if the publish a little yellow book, then everyone can refer to these teachings wherever they are.

More teachings to adhere to.

You make several statements, at least 2 of which are contradictory, imho, they cannot both be true.

i looked up the rules/values of Buddhism. no one seems to follow them. wonder if the kings teaching will be followed any better. what are they, any ideas? hopefully for the good general they dont ban dictatorships.

My own departed Dad, a soldier to his gleaming boots would always bark.

"Don't do as I do. Do as I say!"

ARMY - It's how we roll.
