Two people arrested in connection with the killing of a police commander and his partner in France were being questioned by an anti-terrorist judge on Saturday.

On Monday night, Larossi Abballa, 25, who had pledged allegiance to ISIL, killed the couple with a knife at their home in the Paris region, filming himself at the site of the attack and warning on social media that the Euro 2016 football tournament, being hosted by France, would be a ‘graveyard’.

A memorial service attended by President Francois Hollande was held in Versailles on Friday for Jean-Baptiste Salvaing, 42, and Jessica Schneider, 36, who also worked for the police.

Their three-year-old son Mathieu, who witnessed the bloodshed, was taken hostage by Abballa. The boy was found unharmed but in a state of shock when officers stormed the house and killed the attacker.

Hollande presented the couple posthumously with France’s highest honour – the Legion d’honneur.

France has been under a state of emergency since ISIL gunmen and bombers killed 130 people in Paris last November.

If someone is interested, the names of these nice young fellows are Saad Rajraji and Charaf-Din Aberouz ; Euronews forgot to mention them, unintentionally of course.

Im am always disgusted by the French media who systematically hide THAT sort of truth from the public.

Sadly, it is not just the French media.

It appears to be a contagion that is spreading.
