June 19, 201610 yr Major Choeun Theng, a 37-year-old military officer and timber trader, was arrested over the weekend in connection to a collapsed bridge in Kampot province’s Chhouk district. The major in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) was the owner of a truck which caused the bridge in Chey Sena village to collapse at midnight on June 11 because of the heavy load of illegal timber it was carrying. Colonel Sophal Keo, the Deputy Commander of Kampot Provincial Military Police, told Khmer Times about the incident. “He is the owner of a Fuso truck which was fully loaded with timber and driving on a bridge in Kampot province, causing it to become broken and damaged,” he said. “He was arrested based on the provincial court prosecutor’s warrant for his arrest,” he added. After damaging the bridge, the driver made a getaway, but based on the truck’s documents, the provincial Military Police were able to identify the truck’s owner. read more http://www.khmertimeskh.com/news/26284/army-man-arrested-for-damaging-bridge/ ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français ThaiVisa, it's also in French
