Just be be up to speed, please let me ask a few questions.

I currenty have a Non-Immi "O" Multiple Entry exp. Oct. 2016
issued Savannakhet (Marriage)

1. Can I use this visa and apply for a 1 Year extension (marriage/retired) ?
if not:
2. I will get another 90 days before the visa expires doing a border-run ?
3. After these 90days,- the visa will be used. My understanding is that I'll need a new
non-Immi for the 1 Year extension from outside Thailand ?

And finally: If I can use my current visa and apply for 1 year (on retirement)
Has the money to be seasoned 2 or 3 month ?

Thank you for your help!

1. You can apply for a extension of stay based upon marriage or retirement during the last 30 days of any of the 90 day entries your visa allows.

2. You will get a new 90 day entry from your visa as long as you do it on or before the enter before date on your visa.

3. Your visa does not have to be valid to apply for an extension of stay.

For the first extension based upon retirement the 800k baht only has to be in the bank for 60 days. For marriage it is 400k baht in the bank for 2 months for all extensions.

Hi,

Can I get the same visa without my wife's help. She is being a little less than co-operative these days. I had one a year O visa about a year ago but let it expire. I have children with her and they are now living in Thailand with her. I pay a lot in support and don't think it is fare to need to beg her to get a visa to see the kids. I can get a normal single entry visa but it is very inconvenient as I need to apply from outside the country and there is no consulate or embassy where I am.

Thanks.

You could get a multiple entry non-o visa in Savannakhet Laos. You would only need signed copies of your wife's house book registry and ID card. Plus your marriage certificate and a copy.

I have my own yellow house book. I would like to get the "O" visa so I can travel easily for the year.

A yellow house book will not help you get any visa at an embassy or consulate. It only serves as proof of residence if needed.

I currently have a 90 day multi entry visa but it is really a big hassle to get it. So the one year "O" visa would be much better.

There is no 90 day multiple entry visa. I suspect you may have a extension of stay based upon marriage you obtained at immigration.

I posted what you will need to get a multiple entry non-o visa at Savannakhet in my previous reply.
