I have some good experience in teaching IELTS exam preparation, but have not yet taught TOEFL preparation. If you are experienced in teaching TOEFL, are there any salient or important points (or problems) to mention, or important differences between the TOEFL and IELTS exams? TerryLH Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 OP, unless you already have the work lined up, it seems to me that there would be more of a market teaching TOEIC. TOEIC scores are needed for many jobs here, including many government jobs, airlines, large manufacturers, non NES teachers, etc. I was and still am amazed at the number of graduating uni students that didn't pay enough attention to that requirement and can't apply for many jobs that they might otherwise be eligible for.
