Tattoo shop query

Featured Replies

I don't have any tattoos, however after reading about the case of the Scotsman who turned up dead in a Bangkok morgue after being missing for several weeks I'm considering having my name (and possibly some other information, such as blood group) tattooed on the sole of my foot. This would be useful in the event of a serious accident or death. Since the wife and I will be briefly in Pattaya next week can anyone recommend a competent CLEAN tattoo artist to do the job? Also, would the skin on the sole of the foot typically be too tough to take a tattoo? Would it need to be on the top of the foot?

Thank you in anticipation..

A tattoo on the instep would be as permanent as anywhere else on the body.

If you never had a tattoo before, the foot is not the best place to start - ouch!!!

Also, tattoos need to heal, just like a cut or a burn. This would be difficult if you intend to walk on it soon afterwards. I suspect that the ink would spread and become unreadable very quickly.

I would suggest inside the lip or between scrotum & anus is less painful.

You could also have a micro chip inserted under your skin in case of kidnapping.
