Honda Wave Inner Tubes Leaking

Are there any Honda Wave inner tubes sold in Thailand that won't leak half the air pressure every week? It's annoying me enough to replace both of them. I ride the thing about twice a month to the grocery store and every time I use it I have to pump up the tires first.

Thanks!

I have an old Kubota tractor with tubed tyres.

The front tubes are made in Thailand. The rear tubes are made in Japan.

The fronts lose pressure fast whereas the rear pressures hardly vary.

It just seems to be a characteristic of Thai manufactured tubes that, in my experience, is common to all brands.

Does the leakage get worse as the tubes age? Will replacing them make a difference. They are 10 years old or so.

No.

Tubes can last 20, 30, 40 years, no prob.

Why waste 150 baht?

Solid/no bicycle style wheels would be the only guarantee and a proper mounting of the tire.

I might be wrong but I think a dry tire mounted on a dry rim leaks more air.

I used to check a Dunlop TT900 every 2 weeks; it was dry mounted in Chinatown.

My last 2 changes were at the 29tire shop near Ekkamai; they use a mounting paste which seems to make a big difference.

Now I go a month between checking pressure on a Dunlop TT900 and sometimes I still don't add any air.
