miksak
I just received a new 12 month multi entry visa i have a few pages left in my passport but not enough for the full 12 months as i travel in and out of Thailand a lot I want to know, if i get a new passport can i use my old passport with the visa inside to enter and exit Thailand even tho i have a new passport Or once you get a new passport your old passport visas are no longer valid so i will require a new visa when i get my passport When i got my visa outside of Thailand at the consulate, they couldn't give me a definitive answer I would have like to get the new passport and then got the visa but i didn't have enough time to do so Thanks in advance
Shot
Depending on how much time is left on the visa once you have the new passport, Thai immigration can transfer it. However, you can travel with both passports and have no problems. I just did this.
KhunBENQ
Visa (visa sticker) are NOT transferred to new passport but will remain valid even if you have a new passport. You have to travel with both passports. Entry/exit stamps will be placed in the new passport. Only extensions to stay (one year permit etc.) can and will be transferred to new passport. Better placed in the visa forum. Absolutely nothing "Phuket" here. Edited July 5, 2016 by KhunBENQ

ubonjoe
As said the visa will remain valid in the old passport. Use both passports the first time you leave the country to have your last entry stamp moved to your new one so they can stamp you out in it. Then both passports for every entry until your visa expires.
