Police have info clarified before arresting human trafficking suspects

BANGKOK, 6 July 2016 (NNT) - Assistant Police Commissioner General Thammasak Witcharaya confirmed police have had pieces of information verified prior to the arrest of any human trafficking suspect.

He said that the police will step up law enforcement and coordinate with other authorities to investigate human trafficking cases, many of which may involve migrant workers.

In addition, he said the efficiency of police investigation will be enhanced by having police officers undergo training courses and discuss human trafficking cases with public prosecutors, he said.

The police will have information verified and analyzed prior to the arrest of any suspected perpetrator and continue to search for clues among migrant workers and others, he said.

Important information as with any suspect here, especially in major crime, is who are they, how rich and connected are they ?

As I pointed out yesterday the Un human rights commission lambasted Thailand, Cambodia and Burma last Sunday for having the well to do rich involved with people trafficking and child prostitution, the Un even has their names and as stated by the UN, police investigations into these people start , then run out of steam, or the witness then mysteriously disappear or evidence goes missing, both Malaysia and Burma has been lowered to tier 2 watch list , their opinions of both Thailand and Cambodia have never really been accurately reported in Thailand in recent times , they pulled no punches in a savage attack on both countries for not doing enough..................................................coffee1.gif

Most people in the 'West' believe that slavery was abolished 100's of years ago, unfortunately, that is not the case in SE Asia... Given the influence and wealth of the people involved in the trafficking, it will be a long, long time, before / if the situation gets resolved...sad.png

The UN are powerless, they just don't realize it....coffee1.gif

THE BEST PLACE TO FIND HUMAN TRAFFICKING is at THAI immigration. on the 3rd floor a Vietnamese has been collection 2000 bhat per person to deport Burmese. making roughly 300,000 baht a month. why? if they dont pay. they beat you and leave you for a week. but... wait... doesnt immigration supply a free shuttle to deport people? yup. they do. thats why ITS HUMAN TRAFFICKING>
