Over 7,000 people have reserved Pracharat housing units

BANGKOK, 12 July 2016 (NNT) - The National Housing Authority (NHA) has reportedly received more than 7,000 requests for reservations in the government’s Pracharat or Civil State housing project.

NHA Acting Governor Ubonwan Suebyubol revealed that the government’s affordable housing project has been well received over the past week, receiving more than seven thousand requests for reservations.

She reported there were 936 applicants for ready-to-move-in homes and more than 6,000 applicants for units that are still under construction. However, Ms. Ubonwan noted that many applications failed to provide the required bank loan documents.

The application period for housing units in Bangkok has closed, but units outside of Bangkok will continue to accept applications until July 15th, every day from the hours of 8:30am to 6:00pm. Those interested can reach the NHA call center at 1615.
