Basil B
Just who will be in it? Chris Grayling? Liam Fox? Damian Green? My tip for Theresa's old job? Boris Johnson? Minster for silly walks talks? Micheal Gove? Northern Ireland? Who will be out? will the Osborne's be moving out of No 11? George has lost all credibility after saying there will be a Emergency Budget and then climbing down on his threat, but there again I am unsure who in the party can count past ten without taking their shoes off? Ricardo
" New Prime Minister Theresa May has made Boris Johnson, the former London mayor who led the Brexit campaign, foreign secretary in her new government. He replaces Philip Hammond, who becomes chancellor. Ex-Energy Secretary Amber Rudd is home secretary and Eurosceptic David Davis is the Brexit secretary." http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-36789972 Link to comment
Ricardo
Given her own preference to Remain, perhaps the new PM might prefer to appoint a Brexit-supporter to negotiate the exit ? And David Davis gets the job .. "David Davis has been appointed to the new cabinet position of secretary of state for exiting the European Union - or "Brexit secretary". A veteran Eurosceptic, he has previously held the positions of Conservative party chairman and shadow deputy prime minister. Between 2003 and 2008, he was the shadow home secretary under both Michael Howard and David Cameron. Mr Davis, 67, lost to David Cameron in the 2005 Tory leadership contest. Details about the new Brexit department are still emerging, but it is likely to take the lead in negotiating Britain's departure from the EU and unpicking the thousands of pages of EU rules written into UK law." http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-36785814 Link to comment
