SGX was taken offline at 11:48. It was supposed to resume trading at 2 p.m.. Then it was then said trading would restart at 4 p.m.. And now they say no more trading for the rest of the day. Technical problems, apparently. However, rather disconcerting.

The Sgx has some form here, there has been a couple of similar half day closures in the last couple of years. Technical issues apparently; let's see if it opens ok tomorrow!
