Police conclude that meditation center in Loei encroaches forests

LOEI, 15 July 2016 (NNT) - A team of police officers, soldiers and forest rangers inspected a meditation center, also known as ‘Pa Himmawan Project’, in Loei province, after it was found to be encroaching on protected forest.

The team was led by Police Commissioner-General Police General Chakthip Chaijinda, in his capacity as head of the Centre for the Suppression of Influential People and Hired Gunmen, along with his deputy, Police General Sriwara Rangsipramkul.

Several monk residences were trespassing onto Huai Nam Khao Man Canal, which was obstructed by a small dyke. The inspection also revealed a water well that was built without permission. The land title deed issued to the center’s owner was found to be fabricated, rendering all property development illegal.

Legal charges are later expected to be taken against those involved in the construction of the mediation center.

Influential people of hired gunmen? Or both?

...duhh.....

...but when they do it against foreigners.....nothing happens.....

...except maybe the foreigner gets arrested....or worse......

It might help the whole country if it was surveyed decently but this seems a long way off.

Surely just the one small dyke shouldn't prove too difficult to deal with.
