On a recent visit to Chang Mai, my friend spotted a beautiful VW Beetle for sale.

He wants to find out more about exporting it to the UK.

Is it possible? how to? What are the pitfalls to be avoided? etc

To be honest,unless its a rare model e.g.pre 1959,I wouldnt bother.VWs in the UK are a better bet and would probably work out cheaper.

If its an oval (pre-1957) or split (Pre-1953) window then it may be worth the effort if its completly original.

Try a VW magazine in the UK like Volks World and compare the prices.Volks World is available in BKK at Asia books.
