Big fire burns down plastic furniture factory in Chachoengsao

Chachoengsao - A huge fire burnt down a big plastic furniture factory and a rescue worker was injured during the fire fighting.

Police said workers of the Ruangwah Standard Industry detected huge smoke from the second floor of sixth warehouse at 9 pm Friday night and some 200 of them fled the warehouse and reported to police.

Some 50 fire engines arrived at the scene at 9:30 pm but the blaze spread to the nearby seventh and eight warehouses quickly.

Fire fighters could only prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings and waited for the blaze to consume itself.

It took more than four hours for fight fighters to control the blaze.

A fire fighter was injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.
