karl2007
Hello, I have had my KTC credit card for a number of years now. I am planning a 6 month trip to the US and then return to Thailand. I just want to keep the KTC incase I need it. But I need to find a way to pay my bill when overseas. Normally I do this every month at the KTC shop. I will be resigning my job so I will hand back my work permit. I have an account at TMB (money from my job) and Bangkok Bank. I spoke to the KTC and they said I can pay using my TMB and I need to speak to them. When I spoke to TMB they said it was not possible. Can anyone give advice on this? Many thanks. allane
Deposit enough to create a Credit balance before you leave, including any charges you expect to incur during the 6 month period. I don't think that KTC will cancel your card if it is inactive for 6 months. Do not ask the question of KTC. Asking the question in and of itself may be enough for them to flag your account for possible closure.
Thailand J
can you link your KTC credit card to a bank account and pay online?
Crossy
KTC credit cards are payable via Bangkok Bank internet banking which does work from overseas, you may need your Thai mobile to be working to receive any OTPs.
