GU22 Posted November 18, 2006 Share Posted November 18, 2006 By "certified copy" they mean a photocopy that has been certified as a true copy by a solicitor or similar. If you are in Thailand the consular section at the British embassy will certify the copy for you. Consular Fees Notarial Fees6 ( Certifying copy £17.5, 1,313baht. Please note that fees must be paid in Thai baht are subject to change at short notice. We accept payment in cash, by banker’s draft or cashiers order (payable to “British Embassy Bangkok”). All major credit cards are accepted. We are unable to accept payment by personal cheque. Remember to copy the blank pages as well, so the ECO can see that they are blank.It may be possible to present your passport to the VAC, who can then check it and copy it for you.
