Can anyone recommend a good lap swimming? What does it cost to do a few laps? I'm living in Kathu...is there anything available to the public at Songkla Univ?

if you take the road from chalong to phuket town and head past the land & house place you will see Navinda Pools pn the left hand side. take the road that runs down the side of that

200m or so along the road there is a sharp turn to the left or you can go right a little bit (sort of fork in the road but not quite) in front of you at this point is a shop. Above the shop is a proper swimming pool that has a club etc. 50 baht for as many laps as you can manage. dont know the name of it but its a proper "training" pool for want of a better word
