We on TVF can argue passionately one way or another, but where do we get our info from?

The NDAA Legalizes The Use Of Propaganda On The US Public. The government can make it's own news.

Congress also allowed the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine in broadcasting. They no longer require the mainstream media to tell the truth.

Actually Congress passed a bill to reinstate the fairness doctrine.  And do you know who vetoed it?  Ronald Reagan.

The Russians already have the e mails, as do the Chinese and the Israelis, and any decent hacker. The question is what they are going to do with them.

Guess they're like hot potatoes.Wonder if they're going dump them all at the same time or release them in batches? Like during the debates? Could be an election changer when Julian Assange tells the American people all about Chelsea's wedding and then there's the ones about yoga and family shopping. Hell, 30,000 of those is gonna put me to sleep totally as well as Bill

Indeed, another good thing Reagan did.

The so-called 'Fairness Doctrine' was a shoddy piece of legislation which was basically censorship.

Whether it was a good thing or not was not at issue.  Linzz reflexively blamed Congress for not supporting it. Actually it was Ronald Reagan who vetoed a bill that would have reinstated it.

Fair enough. I didn't follow the conversation enough to see that was your point. However, I will still maintain vetoing the Fairness Act is a good thing. Any government action that interferes with such basic free speech and/or demands a person or entity give its time to someone else to speak, is in clear conflict with the First Amendment.

Please, no links to conspiracy theory websites.
