TF, MicroSD or MicroSDHC card for Android box - which one?

Featured Replies

Just bought an android box and I see that it can apparently take a TF card up to 128 GB. Okay, so I'm using a search function to buy a suitable TF card, but I keep getting SD or MicroSD/SDHC cards in my search output.

I looked at google - and some say that TF and MicroSDHC cards are exactly the same, while others say that TF and MicroSD cards are the same thing - while yet other say if you have a TF slot, then you can ONLY use a TF card. facepalm.gif

I'm slightly confused - anybody have exact experience with their android box TF slot?

What card did you buy (TF, SD, SDHC) , how many GBs, what cost and who from ?

Thanks for any good hints biggrin.png

Here an example on Lazada for a TF Card, however NO IDEA if they are REAL or NOT

Edit: I have been searching as well, and it seems that TF (Trans Flash owner SANDisk) changed it's name to MicroSD.

Good one OP, let's wait till someone really has a definite answer

Thanks - I'd already read the exact same article that you'd linked to - but as you also found out, it appear Sandisk just(?) changed the name from TF to MicroSD/MicroSDHC.

There are also "MicroSDHC cards with TF Memory" for sale (on Lazada, too). Now <deleted> is a 'MicroSDHC card with TF Memory'?

Yeah, you're right - somebody that actually has an Android Box with a TF slot can prollie clear it all up very quickly.

Thanks - and Cheers!
