Hal65
Sweet chili sauce is widely available, low sodium, and average carb when it comes to sauces. And in my experience it really transforms a dish, imparting a sweet flavor balanced with savory chili. I use it on my bean dishes, though I'm sure could go with anything rice-based as well. there are so many interesting Thai sauces out there which I have yet to try. To be honest I'm a bit concerned about the sodium on some of them. But on occasion, high sodium sauces should be okay also. I'm on the hunt for an "orange chicken" sauce (or similar) at the moment. What is your favorite store-bought sauce that you've come across in Thailand? Where did you find it? Edited July 29, 2016 by Hal65
BKKdreaming
Are there any made up curry sauces other than the 200g pouches , more like an indian curry or Japanese curry , its not something we normally eat in the USA like you do in the UK and I have no idea how I could make it from a powder or ???/
