G0DL5oPyrtt5HBAi4FvBZUgghoYoqABZxtieHqNu

BANGKOK: -- His Majesty the King occasionally had low fever throughout the month of July but medical checks, X-ray and laboratorial tests didn’t detect any clear sign of infection and, therefore, no medication was administered, according to the statement of the Bureau of the Royal Household issued on Monday.

However on July 28, the King had fever although X-ray of the chest didn’t find any lung infection but blood tests indicated that there might be lung infection and doctors administered anti-biotic medication to reduce phlegm and saliva. Doctors continued to keep close observation of the King’s fever, said the statement.

As for the condition of spinal fluid in the brain, doctors have continued to follow up the King’s condition all along and occasionally adjusted the tube to increase the discharge of spinal fluid throughout the month of July. The King’s condition has improved satisfactorily.

Doctors said that they would report the King’s health condition on monthly basis if there are no abnormalities in the condition, said the statement.
