VoIP Telephone

Recommended Posts

I've got several VOIP phones from years ago.  They plug into the USB port and act just like a regular phone when using Skype or other VOIP services.

Which means they're just another form of a speaker and a microphone.  Nowadays, it's just as easy to use a headset with a microphone, your computer's speakers with a microphone, or any speaker and any microphone that will plug into your computer.

And the sound quality is generally much better with even a cheap headset than my VOIP phones.

The speaker and microphone aren't the make-or-break part of VOIP.  The VOIP service you choose is critical, though.
