Turns out farang security guard is famous English teacher Kellen James

The “hot” farang in the security guard costume who drove Thai girls wild today is actually not a security guard at all, but a popular English teacher on social media named Kellen James.

 

Kellen James, from Boston, Massachusetts, confirmed with Coconuts that it is indeed him in the viral photos, and the reason for the security guard outfit is a part-time job — but not the kind you think. The part-time job a role in the Thai TV series “Happiness.”

 

Kellen refused to reveal any information about his role because it is confidential, but we hope it’s a romantic comedy about a Thai girl who falls in love “cute farang” who speaks Thai, and not one of Prayuth’s happiness projects.

I believe this is a typical style used by many of these attention-seeking wannabe famous Youtube bloggers. I'm sure he's very popular with 13 year old Thai girls and gay boys. I won't be watching another of his videos.

Oh, Thai series. A farang security guard - really?

 

This is how it would really go. Farang is a security guard here in Thailand. After about an hour the police and immigration are at his work place. Had complaints of a farang security guard working illegally. He's taken away. Or...... he shows them his Thai ID. He has citizenship here. Police and immigration leave him. Different police and immigration return a couple of days later. Same scenario. They have had complaints from locals and need to see his credentials. He says he's already been through this but immigration don't know because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

 

Why he's a security guard here? I really can't think of any plausible explanation. Ghosts? 

Who is he? I have never even heard of him let alone considered him "famous"

And his Work Permit for his part-time job?

Looks like he can't keep a job over a year. Does that make him famous? No maybe incompetent! He did keep one job in the

states for about 4 years as a School Bus Driver! He's from Boston, so he has an accent! Thai students may not understand him

and that's why he can't keep a job over a year. Awful young to be bumming around Thailand with no job. Maybe Mommie & Daddie take

care of him. Go home and get a job little fellow and a Life!

    What's he doing with a beer bottle in his hand? Didn't a heap of Thai soapies get into trouble a short while ago for promoting alcohol?

It's the same guy, but since those pictures in the first link, he moved to Thailand and had to get bleached so he wouldn't be persecuted by the darkie hating locals.
