Families of dead victims from bomb blasts to receive 1.18 million baht each

 

 

Families of the four Thais who were killed in bomb explosions in during Mother’s Day will be paid 1.18 million baht each in compensation, said Deputy Prime Minister Wisanu Krea-ngarm on Monday.

‘Stam’ the fake cop busted in Phuket, denies Patong shakedowns

PHUKET:-- Police have flown in from Bangkok to arrest a man in Patong who impersonated a police officer to get free meals in restaurants and extort cash from small businesses. If the business owners didn’t pay up, he threatened to shut them down.
