Families of the four Thais who were killed in bomb explosions in during Mother’s Day will be paid 1.18 million baht each in compensation, said Deputy Prime Minister Wisanu Krea-ngarm on Monday.

PHUKET:-- Police have flown in from Bangkok to arrest a man in Patong who impersonated a police officer to get free meals in restaurants and extort cash from small businesses. If the business owners didn’t pay up, he threatened to shut them down.
