atm withdrawal gone south

Featured Replies

I tried atm withdrawal today with non-thaicard ( skrill) using TMB-atm. Did not get anything, said invalid amount or something like that.

Checked cardś onlinearea and now i see "pending transaction" for the amount i did not get..:bah:

Is this how usual in Thailand?

Ups, Posted to wrong place:facepalm:

Thanks for moving this topic..:)

No, it's not the norm...it can happen in any country.  Most likely a telecommunication glitch during the withdrawal attempt.

Contact you "card-issuing" bank regarding the problem....repeat, contact your card-issuing bank; not TMB.

There actually should not be any need to contact bank - it will resolve itself when paperwork for transaction is not forwarded from Thailand and be removed.

I wouldn't take that chance.  I would notify your card-issuing to be safe.

O.k, Thanks a lot for replies,

Odd, I quess best not to use this ATM again..

Today this "pending ATM transaction" was released and disappeared from my online statement. No contact to anyone was needed.
