PM warns of tax audits far back to five years for tax evaders

BANGKOK: Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha yesterday advised all Thais to make comprehensive payments on their taxes and warned that any attempt to avoid tax payment could result in tax audits back to past five years.

Two airmen sustain minor injuries in plane crash

A pilot and a mechanic narrowly escaped death with minor injuries when a trainer plane in which they were flying crashed into a rice field near an air base in Nakhon Phanom’s Muang district on Friday.

Importers told to remove luxury cars from tax-free zones in 90 days.

BANGKOK:-- The Customs Department yesterday issued a statement asking importers to remove their imported luxury vehicles left at tax-free zones for over two years otherwise their vehicles will be either seized or discarded.
