A friend of mine entered Thailand on a single-entry non-immigrant visa category B a week ago.  It does not show any duration on the visa.  She has had a death in the family and needs to leave Thailand suddenly.  Will she be able to get a re-entry permit and return on that visa?  Or would she have to enter on a visa exemption since the visa is used now?  Thanks for your help.

There is a entry stamp in her passport that has a admitted until date on it which would be 90 days fro the date she entered the country.

Her visa is no longer important since she has already used the one entry allowed.

She can get a single re-entry permit that will keep the remainder of the 90 day entry valid when you returns to the country.

Hi Ubonjoe, thanks so much.  I noticed the 90 day entry and was just going to amend my post when you answered!  I was thinking she could get a re-entry permit, but wanted to be sure!  Great to know for sure.
