PATTANI: -- A man suspected of planting a bomb and a fire bomb at a department store in Trang province in the middle of this month has been arrested and detained in Pattani.

 

Pol Maj-Gen Daoloi Moendet, commander of Trang provincial police, and a team of investigators had already flown to Pattani to question the suspect whose identity was not disclosed.

 

The source said that police investigators managed to track down the suspect with the help of footages from CCTV system and his sketch.

 

A native of Pattani, the suspect is being held in custody at the interrogation centre at the Ingkayuth Boriharn barrack in Tambon Bo Thong, Nong Chik district of Pattani.

 

The source said that more arrest warrants are expected to be issued in the next couple of days.
