I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes last March and found that due to my exposure to Agent Orange while in Vietnam as an Infantry Light Weapons Advisor I am eligible for a substantial pension increase through the VA.

It further came to my attention that my presence in Vietnam during that particular time frame Type II Diabetes does not force the burden of proof on me and that my condition is presumed by law to have been caused by my presence in Vietnam.

Looking for anyone that has gone through this process. Just to chat and be one up on the requirements and what to expect in general.

I can figure out the forms and processes so far and have lots of help through the RAO, but, please PM me or email me if you have gone through this.
