P4K
Im taking care of my neighbours cat and im allergic and its the only thing that really works on my allergies, is there a way to get promenthazine otc here?
lopburi3
From quick Google this is a very much abused drug so I hope not. A doctors visit does not cost that much here. http://bangkok.coconuts.co/2015/07/02/thai-teens-go-crazy-purple-drank

lopburi3
Have you tried Zyrtec? Have found it very good for allergies when I have issues and believe it is still OTC.

Sheryl
There appears to be only one oral preparation that is promethazine alone. It is a pediatric syrup and brand name is PROCODYL.Otherwise only available as injection or in combo with codeine, both of which not sold over the counter. Sheryl
AFAIK, but I cannot be sure - the drug classification is not listed in MIMs. The abuse issue was for a mixture of promethazine and codeine combined with soft drink (so called "Purple Drank" - it is not made with promethazine alone). Syrups combining promenthazine and codeine are prescription only.
