A Bunch of Drones Just Flew By

Looked like a pack of strange mechanical small objects flew by the ekkamai area, I could see them out of my condo in a high rise..  They were small and flying at high altitude so I could not make out what shape they were.. very strange and I have never seen these before, don't think they could have been birds..

This is all part of the gov'ts new policy of tracking tourists. 

 

When the SIM card idea fell through then personal drones became the next obvious solution.

Joking aside, I bet this is a new weekend hobby--drone groups and even drone racing! 

 

It sounds like a fun way to spend a quiet Sunday morning...not unlike the old days when we used to have RC airplane "Clubs".

They have drone racing every weekend by my house.....however, on my last trip back from Singapore, I sat next to an American aerospace platform consultant.
