cdnvic
Flying into Kathmandu is not easy even for the best of pilots. From a safety perspective I'd go with the local carrier who do it all the time. http://www.royalnepal-airlines.com/index2.htm
markuk
depends where your flying from but i will assume you are fliying from Bangkok, in which case you have the choice of Thai or Royal Nepal. You will get Royal Nepal for around 20k Baht return. There is another called Royal Nepal International who i am not sure still operate, i really wouldnt recomend them if they do as they used to frequently cancel flights. dantilley
If comfort is a factor for you I wouldn't go with Royal Nepal airlines - went with them a couple of years ago and it was the worst airline I've ever been with. Cheap, though...

They had never been there before. If they are not there now, somebody else from abroad would be. My take - get on Thai Airways. Could be the same pilots maintain that route and know the ropes.
