Murder of British Peers daughter in the Philippines.

I am quite surprised that this didn't make big news on Thai Visa. Lord Tony Moynihan played the bongo drums in a nightclub in Silom in 1963. But I guess not many members of this forum who remember that. The murder of his daughter was absolutely shocking it was part of President Duertes murder campaign against drug addicts. The story was headlines all over the world. Lord Moynihan was a colourful character who promised to shake up the House of Lords. He was involved in all sorts of controversial deals, and scams, but he was never charged because we always seem to get away in time.
He claimed that a CID officer in the UK demanded a £50,000 bribe to drop charges against him, but instead of paying the bribe he quickly got out of the country. Sounds a bit like Thailand!!
