Phones with good call quality

I'm looking for a good phone with above-average call quality. This is for a business purpose so price is a secondary concern, although I would like both high end in midrange options if you guys have suggestions at different price tiers.

Most of my calls will be internationally routed so signal strength is a real priority. I use AIS in Pattaya. The type of phone is not too important although I assume most recommendations will be android smartphone.

Thanks

very happy with my huawei g8, very loud ring tone, clear reception (i am with AIS 12Call prepaid), overseas calls to germany and australia often sound like local calls. my wife has a g7 - just as good, virtually identical specs, but a bit cheaper.

the phone also is heavy, so you can feel it in your pants pocket and don't always have to check if it's still there.

"Call quality" (completion, frequency response, CODEC, echo, delay, etc.) is affected by so many variables that even with the "best" handset you may only be able to influence a small percentage. When you factor in international connections, and the far-end device, I'm not certain how much your device will actually help, or hurt?

There are tons of reviews out there, maybe have a read through those to get a feel for the important factors, then narrow the options down.

I would think a fixed-line, in a quiet environment, using IDD (direct dial, international, so + CC/number) might optimize the local, and international calling conditions?

I have thought about fixed line service, but then I think you're looking at paying very high per minute rates to the US. But I'll look into it again, thanks.

I use an OBi200 VoIP adapter with two free Google Voice numbers associated with it. This device can support up to four (4) VoIP lines. The quality varies but for 99% of my calls it is fine. It uses different rings for incoming lines/calls.

There is also the magicJack device but honestly I stopped using that, even with ~ 3 years of service left, as my GV set-up works fine, it's free, has many, many, many more features.
