Acedent near Bophut Lights

Featured Replies

Wow big smash near to the PTTGarage past the lights at Bophut T junction

One car mounted the pavement into a concrete sign taking that out plus a shop front two more in front rear ended then a water truck must have hit the car on the pavement plus someone else hit the back of the truck

Chaos the BIB ( two ) on the plot but road blocked with traffic no sign of injuries though hope all got out OK

Big insurance job though IF of course they have it

All this around 3pm so sorry for the folks going home if the traffic is as bad now

Noticed, the queue started at Makro.

A white car was head first into the shop while a black Merc appeared damaged front and rear when we drove past towards Bophut lights from Maenam. 90 mins later traffic from that same direction was still backed up all the way to Maenam.

A large white water truck was involved too but I was unable to determine whatever sequence of events had lead to the above because the truck obscured my view until we had passed. I haven't bothered uploading dashcam footage as I'm fairly sure any from the opposite lane will better explain what occurred. The water truck and the merc were parked, with the latter facing the wrong way with a damaged grill & buckled bonnet.

Plod were in attendance. The lack of ambulance/sirens suggested they might have been lucky this time.
