Chonburi man fights off kidnapper dressed as police officer (video)

By Teeranai Charuvastra, Staff Reporter -

CHONBURI — Police said Tuesday they’re looking for three armed men, including one dressed as a cop – who attempted to abduct a man from his home in Chonburi.

Thanongsak Lueng-on, 30, told reporters the men identified themselves as policemen and ordered him to go with them to a police station for questioning. 1 dressed as a policeman, maybe he was.

Doing a bit of moonlighting.

that is unnerving news.  appears they were not quite seasoned criminals and panicked. the reason for the abduction also

has not been indicated.

...question is....is the 'victim' guilty of something that would prompt such an action...???

ALWAYS call to check anyone turning up, people. This happens a lot more than made public.

With their professional approach to the "arrest" and its final outcome, they looked and acted like cops to me.  :whistling:

Well it makes a change from fighting off a bloke dressed as a woman.

Real Pattaya cops do not act in a 'professional' manner.  In fact they do not act at all.
