rooster59
Phuket Vegetarian Festival cook rails against litterbugs Eakkapop Thongtub PHUKET: A cook at one of the main Chinese shrines taking part in the Phuket Vegetarian Festival has railed against litterbugs who eat for free at the shrine where she cooks, then dump their dishes into the waterfront. Sakda Mongkolnoy let loose at the free-eating litterbugs in a post on Facebook yesterday, calling them “heartless” and saying they “had no understanding of the merit made as part of the festival”. Sakda is a cook at the Kua Tian Keng Shrine at Saphan Hin, where fellow cooks have had to enter the water along the shorefront to retrieve plates, cups and even spoons that have been tossed into the water. “This is plan bad,” Ms Sakda said. “Why would a good person take part in the Vegetarian Festival, but then do this? It is plain heartless “I cook for you, but you do not understand what it means to take part in the Vegetarian Festvial,” she said. NongKhaiKid
many decent, serious reports lose credibility by unnecessary, sometimes ridiculous pointing and how can anyone take this one serious when needless pointing is supported by a couple of grinning fools ? Bob12345
Is the cook not Thai? How does he not know how Thainess works where it is everybody for themselves, than their direct family, followed by more distant family and finally, way way way behind, they care about others. These people just want free food and couldn't care less about cleaning up behind them or helping out, unless they might gain from it themselves (merit).
