Went udon thani immigration to get my visa extension i must say they were fantastic very helpful and i was in and out in 10 minutes after all the stories i was pleasantly suprised i would recommend there service anytime  i think if you are polite and well dressed they appreciate it thank you

My experience over the past 10 years mirrors yours, despite the TV naysayers.  The UT office takes the time to listen and more importantly to assist. It is rare to see anyone depart with a look of dissatisfaction.

Used to have to go to Nong Khai in my early days and then they opened up that office in Udon I think about 5 yrs ago.Man have I been happy about that.Not only is the "Journey" a five minute trip but the people are wonderful------- and I mean that.They have been helpful in any queries and always polite and happy to deal with,From leaving home to return at the longest would be an hour and that was because things had to be done to cover the w/e and the place was crowded,but that is extremely rare.A drudge for me has now turned into a pleasurable experience. The only thing I miss is the English breakfast and we sometimes take the Chopper to Nong Khai just for that and a trip round the market for my bars of chocolate !!!!!!!! Happy Dougal
