Who in their right mind would put their hard-earned cash into this gigantic redevelopment of Soi BJ? 

 

Personally I don't think it's right for Walking Street now or probably anytime in the near future (SOHO Square anyone?). And that's not just because my former Ya Dong bar has been razed...

 

I'm guessing the funds are coming from a Nana-Plaza style business?

Saw that last week and wonder about it too...

Is that definitely Soi BJ? I dont think so.

Sure is, last picture looking west towards WS. That's the south side of Abbe's Bar on the other side of the street.

Is this called "PROGRESS"?

"Late to the Game" considering All the established nightclubs with live DJs operating in Pattaya, and Walking Street//Bali Hi in particular.

All these Bars, Nightclubs - Live DJs, etc. won't last long without customers, unless they have sidelines involving "black money" (I think this means money laundering).

Which opens up a whole new conversation addressing how so many Nightclub venues in Walking Street/Bali Hi can stay open with so few customers.
