BANGKOK: -- A middle-aged man stood shirtless and wielded a knife in protest outside the Royal Thai Police headquarters near Ratchaprasong Intersection around 11am today.

The man, later identified as Nattawat U-lanpongsuk, was reportedly yelling at the police to demand justice for his family.

He was shirtless and only wearing cardboard signs on his back that said "Reform the Office of the Attorney General today," and "Please give poor people access to justice."

OAG! Weren't they the ones who had to be climbed over to present a case to the Constitution Court?

If he been carrying a water pistol rather than a knife he would be fined 100 baht for not wearing a shirt.

Seriously I think he should have laid low.

His son was shot in the ass while hiding inside someone else's property. Burglary?

He had his car sold by the local garage. Recovery of unpaid debts from  previous work?

Brother-in-law charged with reckless driving after killing someone. Only reckless driving? Charges may now be upgraded.

I think that long aluminium pole is the same one they have just invented and paraded in front of the media recently. Used for tripping up villains as they try to escape. Is also fitted with a clasp so the police can keep a safe distance from violent felons while collecting envelopes.

Yeah, without a knife though ideally.

Another serf cracks under pressure... poor buggers.

Mark Twain said, "Clothes make the man, a naked man has no influence on the society".

It's not a good idea to hold a knife, police in Thailand carry big big pistol that will blow off your arm. Am I right?

I once asked my Thai friend why police carry big pistol ( magnum) he answered, "The robber carry big pistol if police carry a small one, the robber will laugh".

Given the sad facts of yesterday... very disrespectful not to wear a shirt.
