Shan group sends condolences

Shan State Army orders troops in its controlled areas in Myanmar's Shan State to fly flag at half mast for 15 days began since Friday.

 

Myanmar’s ethnic Restoration Council of the Shan State (RCSS) has sent a message of condolences to Thailand over the passing of His Majesty the King.

 

The armed group, which has fought for self-rule in Myanmar for decades, will fly its flag at half-mast for 15 days beginning Friday, a day after the King passed away, and also hold a nine-minute silence, according to an official of the RCSS.
