BANGKOK, 22 October 2016, (NNT) - The Minister of Tourism and Sports talked to foreign visitors roaming around Sanam Luang and the nearby Royal Rattanakosin Hotel, while herself distributing free drinking water today.

According to the information recently released from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Minister Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul was also seen at the booth set up by her agency and related units at Sanam Luang.

After the daily merit making ritual, the Minister was strolling around the field which is located near the Grand Palace, the Funeral venue of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, talking to various foreigners, who were reportedly from Spain, Malaysia and Japan.

Minister Kobkarn said that these travelers were extremely impressed at how much Thai people love the late King, adding that the event was unprecedented as an historic occasion. She indicated that the visitors also praised good Samaritans who sacrifice their time, effort and personal funds to distribute free food and drink at the venue.
