I have asked a number of questions on this forum and the responses have always been informative. One last question before I head up to Savannakhet to my Non O visa for marriage.

The posts I have read previously said they give a copy of the house book (Tabien Baan). I have this but my question is regarding the copy. Do they require a copy of the complete book including the blank pages or are just the data pages on both side of a single page ok?

I have seen conflicting posts on this but to get the complete house book on one page – front and back - is impossible because it the text is illegible.

For sure I can get the data pages on a single page front and back.

Any advice appreciated …

You only need copies of page one (shows the address) and the page your wife is shown on. She needs the to sign both copies.

As has been said many times, please don't take more than they require - they may just start to demand it.

Just the first page with the address of the house and the page with your wife's name.

Theres nothing wrong with being prepared if you think it's necessary, which it isn't, but just keep it in your bag.

It has to be the house book that your wife is registered in. It is for additional proof of her Thai nationality along with her ID card.

hi recom, good point and if everyone pays an extra 60 baht as i did outside the consulate they will make sure you take what you need.

Very impressed last time i was there in and out in 4 hours (thats still a lot of beer Lao)

Can anyone confirm exactly what is required now at Savan? it was more than 3 years ago since i was last there, and this being Thailand i want to make sure i have everything.

Cheers, Kevin

No changes other than the consulate may of moved since you were there the last time if it was still close to the river then.

60B for what ? Probably more like 100 these days.

Honestly, all the info is already here on TV, even the form is here - each to their own mind.
